Digital Scrapbooking

Well I've made the plunge into Digital Scrapbooking and I'm in LOVE!! To heck with paper scrapbooking. It's too angering, and expensive. Digital Scrapbooking is the WAY TO GO! A friend introduced me to Creative Memories Storybook Creater software and I couldn't be happier with the product.

I was also introduced to a layout challenge called Sketchy Thursday by an extended family member Shannon. I was always oogling over her posts for the challenge so once I got into the digital world I decided to give it a whirl this week. This was the layout challenge ...


... and here is what I came up with. I did one and decided that I would try another, so there's two. For my 1st time I think it turned out pretty well :)

I'm pretty proud of myself and look forward to next weeks challenge! :) Happy Scrappin'

Memorial Weekend

This weekend so far has been a blast. Aaron came back from his week long road trip down south for work, went to a friend's graduation party today where we spent the day in the pool and enjoying some adult beverages, great day overall with great friends.

Tomorrow we're going to wolfdance in the FTW Stockyards. Aaron won free tickets from the Wolf so we'll be out in the sun all day tomorrow as well. Definitely not ready for the weekend to be over with. Hope everyone has/had a great and safe holiday weekend.
